Do Pashtuns of Pakistan want to join Afghanistan?
I’m sure a Pashtun can answer that question much better than me, so my answer would not be a yes or no. But since you have asked, I would like to inform that there is a propaganda going on since more than 20 years to make Pashtuns accept “Afghanistan” as their true land and not Pakistan. It’s alarming that such people have somehow siezed important posts in the KPK province. In the universities as Deans/Principals/Chancelors etc and they’re gradually spreading that propaganda. The tools they use are simple Spreading hatred for Punjab (while Punjab has been extremely hospitable to Pushtuns, even there’s a quota for pushtuns and balochs in certain universities, KPK universities are hostile towards students from Punjab) Settling Afghan Pushtuns in the province who will portray as Pakistani Pushtuns and will help the political leaders in separation (May 9 incident is an example) Disallowing mutual projects (between Punjab and Kpk) to make sure that the separation is seamless.
