Yesternight I was listening to Zakir Naik on Peace TV and he was addressing about Fundamentalism. He rightly said that every Muslim should be a fundamentalist. And how and why? You see Fundamentalism means believing and obeying the fundamentals of something. A fundamentalist Muslim is one who believes and acts according to Fundamentals of Islam. Leave the western propaganda behind and let's be fundamentalists because if a man isn't a fundamentalist or extremist in Islam, he isn't following the teachings of Islam and when we become fundamentalist and extremist in Islam we become the most peaceful people on earth. No human being is more peace loving and peaceful than a Muslim.
If a mother says to her child, "Sleep dear sleep or else Osama Bin Laden will come", then that doesn't essentially mean Osama Bin Laden is a terrorist, it just means that the people are terrorized by Osama bin Laden. :)
