Heard today that Imran Khan has got married. Good for him and whole of Pakistan.
Good for him because he has married after all. So he has built himself quite an empire and now he has a lady too.
And good for Pakistan because I'm quite positive that the number of dharnas would reduce after this. Or atleast, young women who kind of had a dream of marrying him would refrain from attending because their dream has already broken. These ladies and the boys who followed those girls into the dharnas also gave a fake impression to imran khan that he is very popular :D
So, I hope this would give a bit of rest to Pakistani people. at last!
Ok, pardon me for celebrating my freedom of speech, in politics we all have and should have an opinion or our own. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with that.

The news about Grand Mufti Sahab deciding on the celebrating birthday of Prophet (PBUH) that it is "haram" is quite widespread these days.
But this is exaggeration, though I wanted to write a whole essay on this one, but couldn't for some reason but here are the most important points.
"Prophet's birthday celebration sinful"
here, the word "sinful" is added by the editor and these are not words of Mufti sahab.
"saying that it is a superstitious practice that was illegally added to the religion."
This is something new, Celebration of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is not part of Islam for most of the sects out there. There is a certain small group of people who consider it a "part" of Islam. For most of the Sunnis and Shias out there, this is an emotional celebration not a religious one, just like independence day, father's day, mother's day but a bit more important than that one. Because we tend to love Prophet (PBUH) of ALLAH more than these worldly things.
“It is a bida (a sinful religious innovation) that crept into Islam after the first three centuries when the companions and successors of the companions lived.”
the part "sinful religious innovation" is added by the news editors or writers themselves (as you can see it's enclosed in brackets) because "bida" being "sinful" is controversial in itself. And there are proofs from Qur'anic verses that prove that "bida" is not always "sinful"
So I hope you understand that part of news a bit more clearly and understand the evil people who are busy spreading the hatred.
